Best of 2019
I already posted about my favorites of the decade, but that left out many of the best books I read in 2019. Here, then, are my favorites from the past year. (Because that's really what I mean by "best.") Some of these were obvious choices; others were tough and I could easily have made a different choice. But yes, these are all books I loved this year.

I've read a few from your list but the one I LOVED was Ivy Aberdeen. I believe that was on my list for 2018.

Loved TDC. Although, I was a little underwhelmed by the finale, it was still a solid series. Adored Truly Devious, and I was very pleased with the final book. I thought Ivy Aberdeen was a fantastic book.
ReplyDeleteI love your chart! It looks so spiffy. A lot of these are on my TBR shelf, but I've yet to get to them. What would you say your absolute favorite book of the year was?
ReplyDeleteI love your graphic! The Ghosts of Heaven was one of my favorites a few years ago.

Love how you organized this list! I'm going to remember this for next year! I read a lot of the same books as you, and definitely agree with many of your picks! Hope 2020 is another great reading year for you!
ReplyDeleteDitto the compliments about the layout. I love it. Happy to see Station 11 on there. I would love to see a copy of Maybe He Just Likes You in the hands of all the middle schoolers (and their teachers). I'll be adding some of these to my TBR list.
ReplyDeleteThis kind of organization makes sense to me. I was trying to draw it up as lists, but wanted to do a chart first so I was sure I had what I wanted--then I realized I could create a table in Google docs, drop all the links and pictures into that, and then copy the entire thing and paste it here. Worked like a charm!
ReplyDeleteI really like this way of setting it out :) Looks like you've read some great books this year!
ReplyDeleteI've added Lab Girl onto my wishlist and I'm going to be starting The Toll sometime soon. I still have the last Three Dark Crowns book to get to as well!
Oooh! I haven't read nearly enough of these, and now I need to fix that!!

Love the presentation of this post. I've read Maybe He Just Likes You and really want to read Darius the Great is Not Okay.
