This is just to say
that I'm really sorry I'm late
but you know how bad traffic is
and I think your clock is actually a little fast,
so I'm really not as late as you think I am.
It's not that I don't value your time--
and it's certainly not that I don't love you--
but I had to see how the book ended.
And then, you know--
